Today’s Article from the Archives provides an interesting insight into how the medical establishment was evolving in the early 1900s. This was an address made by A. P. Stauffer M.D., President of the Homeopathic Medical Society of Maryland, on May 19, 1909, from page 387 of The Homoeopathic Recorder. You can read it
We live in exciting times because our technology is finally catching up to enable understanding of homeopathic mechanism of action. Through Peter Gariev's work on the wave genome, others with ultra high dilutions concepts and the growing body of work on quantum biology, with vibrational frequency, we are verging on the thorough break through of an old but new viewed medical paradigm. Some people utilise or practice homeopathy without needing to understand MoA, Hahnemann's "like cures like" is enough. Yet allopathy's persistent ad hominem attacks over the centuries, combined with some homeopathy choosing to polyfarmacy and cure by numbers, has added to flexners inspired mistrust. Will the new technological explanations overcome that? Eventually. Let's hope it's not another few hundred years though😉
Many modern homeopaths have strayed from the straight path of the law of similars and are looking for ways to make a quick buck (with multiple remedy prescriptions) instead of properly healing people. Professor George Vithoulkas leads the way today, teaching correct application of Homeopathy.
www.vithoulkas.com there are links to many of his writings on this website. I'm currently studying the Diploma course under him. Some of the lectures are recordings from as far back as the late '70's and early '80's and he is raising the same issues with vaccination and drug medicine as we discuss now.
It's sad that the information has been around for a long time and still people are unaware.
Wonderful thank you Jayne - I shall look up professor George Vithoulkas. And please if you don’t mind if you have any other tips for whom/what I can read to learn I’d be very grateful 😊
Fascinating, thank you for helping with context and history 😊🙏 I admit I know little of homeopathy, it’s “been on my list” for years but I never quite knew how to/where to dig in. Right, you’ve bumped my priority up!
Ahh of course super thank you! I should have thought of that can’t remember when I found you but I don’t recognise your early stacks so will make lovely reading for my weekend 😊
Hi Sarah, Thank you, how wonderful I shall absolutely take a browse.
Yes it feels right, I’ve listed to the odd interview etc over the years but what has put me off is the mass produced products sold in mainstream shops.
And a bit with something like acupuncture when you don’t know enough to evaluate if someone is genuine and skilled enough it’s hard to know where to even start. Well now I have amazing places to learn from 😊🙏
and, (post the early demise of Dr. Peter Fisher) Dr. Michael Dixon, the current Head of the Royal Medical Household, is an Integrative Medicine specialist and Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Homeopathy.
Thank you for seriously undertaking to publish from the vast body of homeopathic medical literature.
One more thing - John D. Rockefeller who 'did more than anyone else to destroy homeopathy in America' used homeopathic medicine throughout his life.
Thxs Sarah. My bookmark for the prince Charles was taken down, i didn't think to look for King. Re other info thxs too.
I was aware JD Rockerfeller Sr was a fan of homeopathy, i hav noted elsewhere that JD Rockerfeller junior was the driver (led/influenced by F Gates) for starting the institute and foundation and elevating allopathy. Senior apparently wanted both modalities with equal representation...
The thing is - Homeopathy is rooted in vitalism, and vitalism is not tolerated by the key holders of western science. I am a homeopath with 40 years of practice, and I feel this chasm in every area of life. The basis of our understanding is that there is a "spirit-like vital force" which animates all that exists, not only organisms, such as humans, spiders or trees, but also minerals and whole eco-systems. Homeopathy has its roots in alchemy. Although Hahnemann was the first to prove the specifics of remedy actions, the principal of like cures like can be traced back millennia. The attacks on Homeopathy are sustained and vicious, precisely because Homeopathy is a living link to this universal ancestral tradition. In the modern era, the concept of a vital force has been dispatched to history, and it only exists in the archives of anthropology, and certainly not in medicine. It is irritating to the purveyors of material science that it seems to refuse to stay there.
Another fine resource is the work of Dr. Rajan Sankaran. His work on the homeopathic Kingdoms and miasms is outstanding. Reviews of his book "The Soul of Remedies", may be found on hpathy.com
👏👏👏👏Nice piece Jack😉

The article could've been written yesterday!

Can you provide some links to the professor?

Great job here, comprehensive as always!
Can I just add that His Majesty King Charles III remains Patron of the Faculty of Homeopathy https://www.facultyofhomeopathy.org/pages/Patron
